Yoga Resources

Yoga is a journey. There is no competition and no judgment. Only breath. Every student is on their own path. Each should do what their bodies allow.
Jilda Watson is a unique yoga teacher. Her gentle easy style is accessible to people of all ages and stages of health.
She will share her knowledge, and provide access to sound recordings she does during the relaxation segment of her classes.
You can attend her free classes at the Sumiton Community Center each Monday evening at 7 P.M. Join us on Monday and start your journey.

Jilda Watson has 200 ERYT hours of yoga training, which allows her to train other yoga teachers.
She is trained and certified in:
Yoga Warriors – yoga for active or retired military with post traumatic stress syndrome, Senior yoga, Prenatal,
Yoga for M.S., Somatics (for chronic pain), Restorative Yoga, Meditation, and Breath work.
Certification from Vanderbilt University – Nutrition and Healthy Lifestyle
Certification from the University of Virgina on Tibetan Buddhist Meditation and the Modern World.
She’s taught patients and staff  at Bradford Health Services in Warrior since 2005. She developed the yoga and meditation programs.
She’s taught a community class at the Sumiton Community Center since 2004.
